We expect you to come along to your appointment and embrace what we provide at Scott Banks Hairdressing. We are a friendly welcoming team who naturally want to provide you with the highest levels of hairdressing whilst delivering a memorable experience. We all work hard to provide an experience to all our clients within the salon. We will not tolerate any form of rudeness, aggression, or disruptive behaviour, should this happen you will be asked to leave the salon immediately.


Some clients use their time with us to step away from day to day life, simply wanting to relax. If you need to use your phone, please consider other clients within the salon and keep it on silent.

Late Arrivals

As a courtesy if you are running late, please call us. We offer a 5-minute grace period and always do our upmost to accommodate you. Regrettably late arrivals will only receive the remaining time allocated at full cost for the service booked.


We personally contact you to confirm your scheduled appointment beforehand and we do understand things do change from time to time however we do monitor all cancellations and the reason behind cancelling last minute. You may be asked to pay for your appointment time upfront prior to your visit on future appointments, this is common practice and not personal.


We have limited availability for children and the costs involved at based upon the time required. Clients expect a relaxing experience from SBH you must consider the well-being of our other clients in salon, we accept no responsibility for the safety of your child.


Unfortunately there can be times when your hair doesn’t feel quite right for you, we will be happy to rectify problems free of charge if this is down to an error on our behalf. However, if it is something you have asked for but personally have had a change of mind then we will be happy to rectify this at an additional cost to you. If you are unhappy you must call the salon within 72 hours post appointment, we may need to assess your hair prior to any future appointment being allocated. We will email you our complaints procedure beforehand so you are fully aware of our procedure.
