My Role & Journey

Taryn started her journey with Scott Banks Hairdressing 21 years ago as a beauty therapist, before moving into reception and front of house. Having been part of the salon for so many years, Taryn has built a wealth of knowledge about the salon, the team and, most importantly, its clients.

Today, Taryn is one of the friendly faces that helps make every visit to the salon feel welcoming and relaxed. She loves interacting with clients, building genuine relationships and being part of their salon experience.

As part of the front of house team, Taryn plays an important role in helping keep the salon running smoothly. From welcoming clients and looking after their needs to supporting Scott and the wider team with the many day-to-day tasks behind the scenes, no two days are ever quite the same.

She particularly enjoys being part of the team and supporting wherever she can, making sure everything runs as smoothly as possible and that both clients and the team feel supported.

Her favourite product is the Trauma Leave-In Treatment, which she loves for helping to keep the hair feeling nourished, smooth and beautifully cared for.

Outside of the salon, Taryn loves spending quality time with her husband, Mick, their three sons and two granddaughters. Family is a huge part of her life, and she enjoys making the most of her time with them whenever she can.

After 21 years at Scott Banks Hairdressing, Taryn has become a much-loved part of the salon family and continues to enjoy the people, relationships and everyday moments that make salon life so special.
